Hello all, having done nothing noteworthy last weekend, I left my blog entry until I found something of interest to write about. And then, looking back over the last 6 months or so, I realised I've had a pretty incredible life of late, and so I thought I'd give an overview of the important things (both ups and downs) that have happened to me in those last six months!
December 22, 2006.
I meet the woman of my dreams, the beautiful miss Sally Hart.
February 15, 2007.
The focus of my adoration and love over the previous month or so, Sally, boards a plane and moves to London with no date of return.
February 17, 2007.
Sally's birthday. I know nothing happened to me on this date, but it's important to me nonetheless.
Early March, 2007.
An offer to work for 6 months in Dubai is made to me, which I accept. Negotiations as to the details of my stay in Dubai consume much of the month.
April 5, 2007.
I board a morning flight to Perth to run a workshop in the WB Perth studio on my way to Dubai.
April 7, 2007.
I arrive in Dubai, spending my first week in a serviced apartment.
April 12, 2007.
I move into the almost brand new, luxuriously appointed WB apartment, which is right next to Burj Dubai, soon to be the tallest building in the world!
April 17, 2007.
Sally arrives in Dubai for four days of sightseeing fun! I collect her from the airport very stressed due to getting completely lost on my way to the airport...my first real getting lost in Dubai experience.
April 20, 2007.
Sally leaves Dubai to return to work in London.
Mid May, 2007.
An offer to work in London for for some months is made to me. Over a week of discussions within WB Dubai finally determine that it is possible for me to go to WB London.
May 23, 2007.
Confirmation of the date I am to arrive in London is received.
June 5, 2007.
I will arrive in London in the evening to begin my time in London and with Sally!
And so now you know! The day after my birthday this year I will be flying to London to be with my beloved Sally.
For some of you this will fill your hearts with fear, but worry no more, as I will still be returning on the 19th of October to fulfill my commitment as the best man at the Hodge/Clarke wedding!
So, no photos this week, but surely exciting news will suffice!
